The Penlance Story
Penlance began with a simple observation — that handwriting was everywhere in schools, but genuine handwriting education was nowhere to be found. Students were filling copybooks. Pages were being completed. And yet nothing was really improving.
Founded by Guru Mahendra — a calligrapher and handwriting expert whose passion for the written word goes back to his childhood — Penlance was built to change that. Today it is a dedicated handwriting training company working with schools across India, bringing structure, method, and genuine expertise to a skill that has long been underserved in classrooms.
